SV650 anyone ? Empty SV650 anyone ?

Well, I beileve I've decided to go with an SV650 when I sell my 250... the 250 is great, but I'm ready for more power, and more modern comforts, mainly a more modern gauge cluster... I've also always been really curious about the Vtwins... they seem to go for a bit less than an I4, and I've found a few just over 2 Grand...

Have you considered the 650r ninja? Pretty decent bike as well. I little sportier looking, which is my preference, but the SV650 looks fun too. Having ridden the v-twin ninja, I have to say that I wasn't impressed with the power but that's coming from a R1 owner. The power delivery is super smooth though and there's plenty of grunt at just about any RPM. Still not as fast as even an R6 but that might be a good thing. If you are looking for comfort, the 650's have a much more comfortable (ie. upright) riding position. My brother picked up his 650r for 2600 and probably could have gotten it for less.

I'm a die hard Kawasaki fan, but I can't deny that the SV650 is the better motorcycle for most people. Parts are far more plentiful, it has more upgrade potential, and it can be had semi-faired or naked. The new 650R is another story though, I love it. There's an SV650 up here Josh. Nekola was going to buy it, but then his dad was killed so he decided to skip on it.
