Wanted to get my bike inspected and finish my endorsement today, but things have come up and I can't... Taking a day off early next week to get it done... Plus my gas tank is aggravating :-( got all my blinkers working except for buying a bulb for one of the fronts... I wish I could jus find a new/used one :-(

What's wrong with your gas tank? There was a recall on EX250 tanks, you might be able to get a new one for free if you still have the defective model on there.

There are 2 "D" shaped tabs on the front upper portion of the tank that the fairing nuts are mounted to, it's leaking around the D shaped tabs

if your ninja is a pre-gen, I'm guessing you are a victim of that terrible design flaw where if you tighten the faring mount bolts to much it punctures the gas tank?

Ahh, that makes sense. Yeah it's a 2000 model, I've been rebuilding it... Didn't know that was a common problem, was thinking that's how it was manufactured
